I’m Alessio Carone and I make the web. I am a Senior Web/UI Designer living and working in sunny Barcelona, improving interfaces, designing new websites and optimise performance speed.

What does that mean? Simply put: I code and design websites to be useful, beautiful and fast so that your business can earn more money, make your customer happy and build trust with your clients.

My way of working is based on Agile principles, using Scrum methodology to deliver great products. This approach helps me to create deliverables on time, influence positive teamwork synergy, and bring the business vision to fruition.

I worked and improved web experiences for a range of different type of websites: e-commerce, mobile web friendly, public administrations, social networks, corporative pages, online gaming and adult entertainment. Using different kind of strategies: a/b testing, re-designing interfaces, optimising code, improving website loading and rendering times.

I keep myself constantly informed "on the way of the web" by participating and/or helping to organise various web conferences around Europe (Ampersand, Dconstruct, Entretipos, Kerning, New Adventure of Web design, SmashingMag, Webvision).
